The relevance of this seminar is dictated by the need to find effective learning tools that will help increase the level of learning, save time, develop key, general and professional competencies, increase student motivation to study disciplines, and qualitatively assess academic achievement.

Modern tools help not only to assess the quality of learning material, but also to determine the current needs of students, identify individual interests of students, encourage students to work independently etc.

Vitalii Dubovyk, a lecturer of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics, made a report entitled “Modern Tools for Formative Assessment”. The greatest attention was paid to the service, which can be used to create mental maps and diagrams. The tools of the service were reviewed, as well as the following advantages: availability of Ukrainian or language selection, no advertising, ease of mastering and using the program, the ability of helpdesk support, compliance with interface quality requirements, openness, conciseness, academic style, optimal number of information on the screen.

The seminar was quite effective and lively.
