Round table “Young scientist: problems and prospects”

On February 21, 2020 at the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics in the framework of the international project “Modernization of pedagogical higher education using innovative teaching tools” (MoPED) of the EU Erasmus + KA2 – Development of higher education potential, № 586098-EPP-1-2017- 1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, a round table of the council of young scientists of the faculty was held together with the student scientific society “Young scientist: problems and prospects” on the basis of the Center of Advanced Educational Technologies “USPU Ecosystem” Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

The participants of the event were welcomed by the moderator of the meeting – Iryna Tiahai, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of Higher Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists, who informed the audience about the benefits of participation of young scientists in the international grant projects, with a wide range of opportunities, which are open to project participants.

Natalia Yurchenko, a third-year student and a chair of the faculty’s student scientific society, reported on the achievements in student science and informed the participants about the experience gained by students as a result of participating in a series of trainings held within the MoPED project. Having discussed the urgent issues of science development, young scientists of the faculty agreed on the plan of joint work of young scientists of the faculty for the second term. So, on February 28, a seminar of the council of young scientists of the faculty together with the student scientific society on the creation of electronic textbooks and other didactic materials will take place.
