February 14, 2020, at the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, the solemn opening of the Center of the Latest Educational Technologies «USPU Ecosystem» has taken the place created within the framework of the implementation of the international grant project «Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education on the Use of Innovative Teaching Tools» (MoPED ) – 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, operating within the framework of the EU Erasmus + CA2 programme – Capacity-building in higher education. The opening was attended by administrators, employees and students of the university, representatives of educational departments and the institutions of the city.
Uman and Uman district, representatives of the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine, namely Svetlana Shytikova and Zhanna Talanova, were with us on the Skype-call.
The solemn ceremony began with the welcoming words of the first Vice-Rector Andrei Gedzik, who has congratulated all present on the event and has wished the Centre for prosperity and realization of certain tasks. The Dean of the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Tatiana Mahometa, has briefed the MoPED project on the purpose and the objectives of the project.
The concept of the establishment and operation of the Centre, which will work towards the broad involvement of professors, doctoral students, postgraduates and students, Teachers and students of Ukrainian schools are acquainted with the current range of problems in the field of innovative teaching of natural mathematics and computer-oriented disciplines. The Head of the Centre, Tatiana Godovaniuk, explained the purpose and main tasks of the educational and scientific activities of the Centre.
Welcome words and wishes of the Center of the Latest Educational Technologies «USPU Ecosystem» to become the of educational and scientific activity not only students and teachers of the university but also all teachers of the city and region were heard from guests of the event. Upon completion of the action, Tatiana Mahometa expressed thanks to the administration of the university, in particular to rector Alexander Bezlyudnyy, the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine, the beneficiary of the project of the Vasil Stefanik Carpathian National University and all colleagues-partners of the project for the opportunity to be members of the moped project consortium.
