The scientific-practical seminar was held within the framework of the project MoPED

On July 4, 2019, on the basis of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, the scientific-practical seminar “Modern Physical Knowledge as the Basis for the Integration of School Natural Education” was held within the framework of the international project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments” (MoPED) of the EU Erasmus Program + KA2 – Development of the potential of higher education, № 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, the member of the consortium of which is Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

Leading experts spoke to the seminar participants, namely: Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, professor, full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of General and Applied Physics of National Pedagogical Dragomanov University Mykola Shut, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor, full member of  the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Teaching Methods of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Mikhailo Martyniuk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of General and Applied Physics of National Pedagogical Dragomanov University Lyudmila Blahodarenko, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, Ph.D., assistant professor of Higher Mathematics and Methods of Teaching Mathematics Department Tetiana Makhometa.

The participants of the seminar listened with interest to the main methodical advice on the implementation of innovative teaching instruments as the basis for the integration of school natural science. The special interest of the participants in the seminar was caused by practical advice on using the ideas of STEM education. In general, the seminar was productive and enabled to identify further approaches of joint researches.
