On July 4, 2019, based on the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics a scientific-practical seminar «Modern Physical Knowledge as a Basis for Integration of School Natural Education» was held within the framework of the international project «Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education on the Use of Innovative Teaching Tools» (MoPED) of the EU Erasmus + KA2 Program – Development of Higher Education Potential, 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, a consortium member of which is the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.
The seminar was addressed by leading specialists, namely: the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, the Professor, the Member of the NAPN of Ukraine, the Head of the Department of General and Applied Physics of the M. P. Dragomanova National Pedagogical University Nikolai Shyt; the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, the Professor, the Member of the NAPN Ukraine, the Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy and their Teaching Methods of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Mikhail Martynyuk; the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, the Professor of General and Applied Physics at the M. P. Dragomanova National Pedagogical University, the Assistant Professor of Higher Mathematics and Mathematics Teaching Methodology Tatiana Mahometa.
The seminar participants have listened with interest to the main methodological advice on the introduction of innovative teaching tools as a basis for integrating natural education in the schools. The practical tips on the use of STEM education ideas were of interest to the seminar participants. Overall, the workshop was productive and provided an opportunity to chart the way forward for joint research.
