Educational trainings for teachers in the framework of the Erasmus+ project “MoPED

During June 18-20, training sessions on teacher training were held within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “MoPED – Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments”, No. 586098-EPP-1 -2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP» with the general title” Competency approach to professional formation of a teacher: from interactivity to the XXI century skills “.

Coach, member of the project’s academic team, head of the Department of Professional Education and Innovation Technologies Oksana Dzhus, identified the issues that have taken practice practitioners during a three-day training.

Among them: “Modernization of education in today’s conditions: challenges, problems, perspectives”, “Designing a new educational environment by means of web technologies (BYOD in education, Quick Response, Plickers”, “Women in STEM-education: myth-reality history “,” Development of critical thinking in a modern school: opportunities and perspectives “,” Classroom management and inclusive educational environment “,” Creative pedagogical strategies as a guarantee of professional formation of a teacher”, “Teacher-Entrepreneur” and Practices of Attentiveness in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School “.

About 70 teachers from the schools of Ivano-Frankivsk and Ivano-Frankivsk region mastered the skills of designing the educational environment by means of web-technologies; put into practice the solved problem situations, which daily appear before specialists-practitioners in communicating with students, their parents, colleagues.

Interesting and productive was the vision of the teachers of the figure of the New Teacher of the New Ukrainian school, which should keep up with the times, systematically and constantly studying, sometimes – ahead of it. And, at the same time, remain confident in their abilities and the desire to engage in the development of the Ukrainian state by educating citizens – educated, active, free and open to everything new.

It is worth emphasizing the incredibly productive, active, cozy, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere that prevailed in the two-year-old and “multi-statutory” (directors, commanders, teachers of elementary and secondary education) pedagogical staff. And also on the desire to continue cooperation.
