Trainings for primary school teachers Ivano-Frankivsk region

Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University held training courses for creative and motivated educators took part in trainings and seminars aimed at improving the professional skills, media literacy and digital competency of primary school teachers in the framework of the international project Erasmus + “MoPED – Modernization of higher pedagogical education by innovative teaching instruments” (No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

The training sessions were conducted by the participants of the academic group of the MoPED International Project: Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University Oksana Dzhus and Inna Chervinska (Tutors – Associate Professors Oksana Derevianko, Myroslava Kulesha-Lubinets and Assistant Natalia Nykorak).
Trainers presented the best European practices in teaching students and discussed with teachers the following issues: Professional mobility of the teacher of primary education in the context of social change and transformation.
Health-saving technologies in the educational activities of the teacher using resources of the Go-Lab platform.
Application of innovative feedback techniques in the process of interaction between a teacher and a student.
Formation of digital skills of the teacher based on the application of Open Shot Video Editor. Management of the class: “teacher-entrepreneur”.
Educational environment of mixed learning in the educational process of the New Ukrainian School. The use of innovative technologies of media edict in the New Ukrainian School educational process.
The subject of discussion was updating education content in higher education by means of pedagogical innovations. The problems of developing the students’ critical thinking, digital literacy in lesson designing, entrepreneurial competence, research skills using the platform GO-LAB, modelling learning outcomes and methods of evaluation (including the technique of flipped-learning) were discussed. The participants of the sessions got acquainted with modern tools for creating educational infographics and video, and also participated in different sessions.
Training workshops for teachers of primary education Ivano-Frankivsk region were organized according to the results of educational practices and seminars of European and Ukrainian partners.
Upon completion of the training sessions, all participants received certificates of training.
