Training courses within the MoPED project in Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi

On the 11th of March 2019 based on Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University series of workshops were launched as a part of the international project of the EU Erasmus + KA2 №586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments – MoPED”.
Training participants representing partner universities of the project, visited Pereiaslav-Khmelnitskyi to share experiences and gain new knowledge and skills, that colleagues, project partners from the University of Deusto will share with them during a week.
Working meeting was opened by the first rector of the University Valerii Khomich and the Dean of Pedagogical Faculty Natalia Ihnatenko, who welcomed all participants and wished them fruitful work on the implementation of the international project MoPED.
The project co-coordinator, researcher of the University of Deusto (Spain) Olga Dziabenko appealed with greeting words to training participants.
Then, the work of trainings was held in parallel in two groups, the first of which included representatives of Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University who worked on the topics “Development of the active research methodology for STEM training”, “Inquiry learning space from the point of view of a student” and “Entrepreneurial competence for the development of entrepreneurial personal qualities”. The second group included representatives of Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, Boris Grinchenko Kiev University and South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, worked on the topics “Girls in STEAM”, “Model of the open school” and “Assessing learning outcomes”.
The work in both groups was characterized by a high degree of friendship, incredible performance and active communicative interaction, and was full of creative ideas and constructivism.
During coffee breaks, participants of trainings had an opportunity to visit the presentation of painting exhibition of the National Union of Ukraine’s Artists member, a senior lecturer of Artistic Disciplines and Teaching Methods Department Roman Motuzok, which was called “Scenic Pereiaslav”, and to join master classes of decorative painting and miniatures “Ukrainian souvenir” and “Ukrainian сolor”, conducted by teachers of Arts and Art Methods Department Zarina Shokirova, Olena Shpytaliova, and also the candidate of pedagogical sciences Oksana Smirnova.
