April 25, 2018 the representatives of the academic group of the project presented the program and the main objectives of the project of the EU Erasmus + KA2 «Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments (MoPED)» (№ 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) at the session of the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education.;
The head of the academic group prof. Olena Budnyk informed the teaching staff of the main ideas, tasks of the project and of the innovative methods of teaching, education resourses of e-learning considering the results of training visits in foreign universities. Much attention was paid to the methods of teaching using games, the program of formation of students’ media literacy, development their critical thinking and digital culture.
The associate professor of the Department, Tetyana Blyznyuk presented her personal observations on the experience of using innovative methods of teaching/learning borrowed from the Univesity of Deusto, in particular the metods of teaching STEAM subjects through the online gaming activity, the platform STEAM Decks, specifics and characteristics of block programming and computational thinking on the Kodetu platform and others.
The associate professor of the Department Inna Chervinska spoke about the necessity of improving the process of blended learning in the modern university and shared her ideas on the experience of teaching at the Krakow Mining and Metallurgical Academy.
